In this ordinary-looking hangar is another world. Looking inside, you are speechless!

It is unbelievable what heights technological progress could achieve. We are already pretty calm about the various know-how and the next miracle inventions. But there are still things in the world that make us gasp enthusiastically!

Surprisingly, but in the very center of Germany, in Brandenburg, there are tropical islands. Yes, beautiful lagoon with clear water and white sand, on the shore of which palm trees grow and exotic birds chirp! But the most amazing thing is that this miracle was placed in an unusual place.

Tropical islands are located in a conventional hangar. The only thing the earlier was remarkable structure, it is for its colossal size. After all, it was a boathouse for airships. Its length is 360 meters and its width is 210 meters.

The hangar itself was previously owned by Cargolifter AG. In the mid-90s, its owners wanted to revive the production of airships for the transportation of oversized cargo. However, the idea did not justify itself, and the company went bankrupt.

It would have remained a giant hangar empty if the Malaysian concern Tanjong had not laid eyes on it.

With the money of Asian sponsors in the former hangar built a unique recreation park with its own microclimate. The pools were equipped in the style of natural reservoirs, and tropical vegetation was planted around them.

The real jungle rustled in the hangar. In addition, the tropical forest was inhabited by exotic birds!

And not only little birds, but also graceful pink flamingos live in the amusement park.

Here you can also find tropical insects! True, they, thank God, did not release to the will. Those who wish can admire the bugs through the glass of special terrariums.

Equipped with the latest technology, the park received the name "Tropical Islands" and is able to receive up to six thousand visitors at the same time!

Those who do not have enough day to enjoy the tropics can stay here for the night. The complex is equipped with its own hotel.

In the dark, the water of the pools is highlighted with a bluish glow, creating a unique atmosphere.

There are several first-class bars and cafes that are stylized as tropical huts.

To remind visitors that they are still in Germany, they built a whole village with half-timbered houses along the walls of the hangar.

Children here have a special expanse. For them, we built several playgrounds where kids can frolic both on land and in water.

For lovers of a savage to rest here even provides a tent city!

Indoors all year round the same conditions. Even if it is winter outside, the “Tropical Islands” will delight their visitors with a temperature of +26 degrees.

Judging by the photos, there is no end to those who want to visit this paradise! It is understandable: in order to get to heaven, you do not need to fly to distant lands.

Who would have thought that an ordinary industrial building could be turned into a beautiful tropical lagoon ?! If this wonderful transformation made an impression on you, then be sure to share a link to this article with your friends.
