  • - electric plane,
  • - glue,

  • - screwdriver
Instruction
Measure the dimensions of the opening to be glazed. Draw its outline and break it into sections. The recommended frame width is no more than 70 cm. Determine which of the sections will open and which will be rigidly fixed to the frame.
Assemble the frame and adjust it using level and plumb. Attach the frame to the parapet, ceiling and walls.
Saw, using an electric jigsaw or a circular saw, boards and cut them into bars.
Make slats with a thickness of 10-12 mm. Smear them with PVC glue and tamp on the frame bars as linings. Carefully handle the plane.
Assemble the frames into the spike using glue. Also fix the corner joint with the dowel. To do this, drive the nail stick in the hole.
Adjust the frame to the size of the opening. For greater rigidity, attach the corners of the frame corners, using screws.
Attach the frame, bottom and top, to the frame with screws with a diameter of at least 4 mm.
Hang movable (openable) sections on the fixed frame with screws and detachable hinges.
Place the “flaps” at the junction of the valves to eliminate the gaps.
Fit each opening frame with two latches, at the top and bottom.
Before installing the frame must be putty, sandpaper and cover with paint.
Install the glass in a fixed frame. Attach the glass with bead and small nails. It should be remembered that between the end of the glass and the frame it is necessary to leave a gap of 2-3 mm. The sealing of this gap is carried out with the help of window putty.
Seal the gaps with special mounting foam. Such a foam, after application, increases in volume, filling all the voids and tightly covers the gaps.

For security, the frame should open in the loggia.
Helpful advice
To reduce the area of inserted glass, supply the frame with cross-braced links. Smaller glass is easier to install and change, it is much stronger and cheaper.
When glazing large spans, it is recommended to make stationary (not opening) sections in large-sized frames, and attach opening sections to them.
