Cunning with vinegar in the house and in the garden

Dandelions

My grief - these dandelions. Gardeners know how hard it is to get rid of them: even the smallest remnant of the root gives such offspring that mom do not grieve. Fighting with them should start before flowering - wet cotton wad with vinegar and place under the plant.

We will add vinegar all the time until it destroys the root. There is one thing - or you will destroy this dandelion or it will destroy your garden-garden.

Aphids, too, does not tolerate vinegar

And we will arrange a VIP reception for the tracks. Pour a cup of sugar into a two-liter plastic bottle, pour a cup of apple cider vinegar and finely chop the banana peel. To the top fill the water, shake the bottle well. We tie the rope tightly behind the neck of the bottle and hang it on the lower branch of the tree. Change bait as needed.

Gardeners, this is for you

No need to carry the soil to the analysis in the laboratory. We are learning how to quickly determine the starchiness and acidity of the soil: we put a couple of handfuls of earth in a box and poured vinegar. If the hiss and bubbles went - you have an alkaline one.

And check the acidity by mixing your soil in water with baking soda. If the soil is hissing, then it is acidic. Many citizens believe that it is possible to lower the pH of the soil simply by spraying vinegar on the soil. Far from it - only through hard manual labor. And not for this article topic.

But you can optimize the germination of woody thick-skinned seeds by rubbing them between two sheets of thick paper or fine-grained sandpaper and then soaking half a cup of apple cider vinegar in a liter of warm water overnight.

In the morning rinse with running water. (And I harden the seeds like this: put them in the fridge on the lower shelf for a couple of days, and then gradually move them to the coldest place.)

Ants

These can not stand the smell of vinegar. I advise you to go through the site and pour minks and approaches to them. We do not need them on the site.

Furniture and arbors

And what has become of our summer country furniture for the winter - the whole mold has gone! Than to steam with soap and water, sprinkle it with clean vinegar from the sprayer - it instantly leaves. Wooden benches are also perfectly cleaned with vinegar. Generally, in your patio (who has one) or in a place where you just like to sit down and rest in the evening, the vinegar is irreplaceable - almost everything can be cleaned.

Peonies

To rejuvenate the bushes of peonies (whose roots grow older and rot over time, causing the flowers to shrink and dull), dig up the roots until the fall, remove the dead places, keep the roots in a bucket of acetic (or manganese) water.

In May and June, admire the bright, large colors. And cut flowers can be kept fresh for a long time like this: on a vase of water, 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar and 2 - sugars. Water change in a new way every day.

Azaleas and Gardenias - Vinegarheads

Water them occasionally with vinegar acidified water. They grow beautifully on acidic soils. And in the alkaline leaves they instantly turn yellow - that's, by the way, you and the natural pH-meter of your garden-garden. Vinegar also treats many other plant diseases, including ryu, black hole and mold.

But do not overdo it: only 2 teaspoons per 2 liters of water and in the dispenser. It is necessary to spray either very early in the morning or in the evening so as not to cause burns to the foliage.

Homemade craftsmen - this is for you

  • Worked with cement mortar? It is easily removed from the hands of vinegar.
  • Worked with fresh paint - remove the smell of paint: a couple of plates with pure vinegar in a painted room.
  • Your metallic utility in the form of a tool, nuts, bolts, rusted - soak them in vinegar.
  • And old wallpaper is well removed after soaking them in a solution of 50/50 vinegar with water.
  • We work with alabaster, putty. But we work slowly, in good faith, and these reptiles quickly dry up and harden, - a couple of teaspoons of vinegar.
  • And dried brushes are also very well soaked in vinegar.
  • Now few people can mow the grass with a scythe, but if there is a ladybird or a goat (and rabbits are not fools on the grass), then the need will force. Sprinkle your Lithuanian blade in the spring with pure vinegar. And who has a lawn mower - mower blades.

Uninvited guests

Unwanted visitors to your site - dogs, cats, hares - cannot stand the smell of vinegar, even when it has already weathered our nose. Who is pleased when the garbage can is dug up the next morning?

And what we will do is wet a bunch of old newspapers with vinegar and lay them on the ground at the cistern. We will change as drying.
