Andy Warhol was a clear influence for Thakoon's Fall 2014 collection. Add the perfect color pop to your room with a pop art artwork as the centerpiece to instantly transform your space.
IT'S A MOD WORLD
Marc Jacobs channeled the mod 1960s in a soft color palette of beige, brown, and taupe this season. Get the look in your home incorporating 1960s inspired mod pieces, with strong lines.
Pops of red were all over the Fall 2014 runways, including at Proenza Schouler, which had a modern take on the trend. Add a pop of red to an otherwise minimal space for just the right amount of edge.
BLACK, WHITE, AND LADYLIKE
Carolina Herrera showed the most perfect of black skirt suits on her Fall 2014 runway. Think texture and elegance when designing re-imagining your decor to channel the look, and a color palette of white and black to add some dimension.
This season Opening Ceremoy showed surrealist-inspired sweaters. Channel the look in an entryway or hallway in your home with a well placed "Ghost" chair to get the look.
IT'S A GOLD WORLD
On the Rodarte Fall 2014 runway, designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy showed glitter covered parkas that were a breakout hit of Fashion Week. Go for gold in a big way when designing a statement room in your home. You won't be sorry.
BLACK AND GOLD
It was full on glamour on Oscar de la Renta's Fall 2014 runway, a standout piece being a black and gold cocktail frock. It's an easy look to emulate in your home—think black lacquer furniture and gold accent pieces.
Designer Alexander Way thought about utlitiarian dressing on his Fall 2014 runway. Take note: utilitarian doesn't have to mean austere, as shown by this functional but inviting kitchen space.
WHITE ON WHITE
White on white was the name of the game on the Fall 2014 MM6 Maison Martin Margiela runway. Nothing is quite as chic and relaxing as a white on white bedroom.
LIME GREEN SURPRISE
On the J. Mendel runway there were unexpected pops of lime green throughout the show, something that is easy to take inspiration from for your living space, say with a lime green couch or chair.
